Safe Horizon (formerly Victim Services) is a direct service, research, and advocacy organization serving the five boroughs of New York City. This attractive site contains practical information for coping with rape, domestic violence, stalking, abuse, torture, and similar ugly acts, and provides links to resources for those outside of New York. National Domestic Violence Hotline
Provides information and referrals for victims of domestic violence, as well as a large collection of information/facts on domestic violence in various settings (home, work, military, etc) and cultural groups. Also shares information on how to help those that are suffering abuse.

This organization provides information and referrals relating to all aspects of sexual violence to persons and agencies. Resources include statistics, research, legal, statutes and prevention publications and fact sheets. Not for crisis situations.
Hopeline is a program by Verizon Wireless that connects survivors of domestic
violence to vital resources, funds organizations nationwide and protects the environment. The website includes information on how people can donate their used smartphones to the program and includes contacts in each state that domestic violence survivors can reach out to in order to get a phone.
